>Channel Five has bought the exclusive rights to air FlashForward in the UK. The series will air this autumn on Five, with repeat showings on the digital channel Fiver.
Speaking about the acquisition, Five’s Managing Director of Digital Channels and Acquisitions, Jeff Ford, said:
“I am delighted we will be the UK broadcaster of this gripping new series. When we saw the pilot at the LA Screenings this year, we knew it would be perfect for our channels and make a fantastic addition to our autumn lineup.”

In my opinion this is a smart move by Five. 5 or so years ago a little show called “LOST” exploded onto the scene – remarkably it took a UK network (Channel 4) a full year to bring the show to the country (though many had already downloaded via illegal means). Five are certainly not going to sleep on this one.
