Flash Forward, from David S. Goyer and Brannon Braga, is loosely based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Robert J. Sawyer, and follows the chaos that ensues after everyone on the planet blacks out for two minutes and seventeen seconds, leaving them with a revealing glimpse of the future that could change everything forever.

Flash Forward will air on ABC in 2009 and is said to be a “companion piece” for rabid “Lost” and genre fans.
