FlashForward Flashes Out – ABC Cancel Series

>ABC has canceled FlashForward after one season. The final episode of the series will air May 27th.

With that said, feel free to leave your opinions on where you think it all went wrong. How would you have done things differently? Do you think ABC should have stuck with FlashForward for another season? Do you think they’ve made a wise choice? How would you like to see the series conclude and which loose ends do you most want tied up?

    I am dissapointed by all the unanswered questions. If ABC are not going to make the second series, how about they make a 3 hour finale that answers at least some of what went on. I can't believe we don't know what happens. They owe it to their audience to give us at least some kind of ending!

      In mine, I was choking an ABC network executive for canceling yet another of my favorite shows, and leaving us all high and dry with unresolved mysteries.

    Sad to see ABC get it wrong again, why cancel a show like this, Flash Foward is so big in South Africa, i don't no what the guys at ABC are smoking… Flash Foward is the best show i watch in a long, long time……

    I'm so disappointed ABC let this one go. If I could not watch the show when it aired I made absolutely sure I recorded it on my DVR. I would often watch it and record it just in case I missed something important. It was very engaging! It allowed the viewer to think and form possible scenarios of upcoming events in the next episodes. This was a major goof on ABC! Now that Lost is gonen to watch …no reason to continue w ABC. Sorry but I too will boycott.

    I'm writing from Romania. The way season 1 ended, defenetly needs a second season. It's an excellent show. We love it.
    And please let the ending of season 2 be less blurry than this one. I felt like crying, and it's not right for a Sci Fi show. Just unrave mystery.

    I'm disappointed, but not surprised at all. ABC definitely has the highest body count of good shows canceled and left unresolved. LOST was a fluke, and I feared for several seasons that ABC would make the same stupid move that they do with almost every good continuing mystery-sci-fi show they start.
    It's probably safer to not watch ABC at all, then just buy the box sets of the few shows that actually finish.

    I am absolutely gutted that Series 2 will not be showing. Surely they can't leave it like this?? Episode 22 showed the future again only this time it was further. It didn't end with everyone not waking up. It's left us with questions of what will happen next. There's no way they can just leave it like that.

    My family and I are devastated that a truly original, thoughtful and beautifully crafted piece of television like this could be cut, with no resolution to the storyline. One can only hope that another forward thinking and intelligent network will pick it up, as CBS did with Medium when another network cancelled it. This was a truly riveting show and we were so looking forward to the next season.

    If they don't want to do a series, how about a mini-series to follow-up? It's a good show with an original theme. The actors were good and played well with each other. I'm bummed.

    I am a little late to the game but how could they cancel this?! They need to have something come back to tie up all the loose ends. This show was one I looked forward to watching every week!

    ABC keeps doing this to us!! We get interested in a show and try to spread the word and then they just cancel it before the word can get out. My husband and I loved Six Degrees and ABC canceled it a few years ago and now they did the same with Flash Forward!! At the beginning of the show we both said, “ABC better not cancel this like they did Six Degrees!” And then here I am looking for the date of the season premiere and I find out it's canceled. If ABC didn't have my two favorite shows (Grey's & Private Practice) then I would ban watching any new shows because they will probably just cancel it anyway and I'd have to go on without resolution!!

      not to mention “Big Shots”, another show I loved that they canceled just as I got hooked on it.

      I am surprised that those great shows survived and ABC did not pull bullshit and say that they had no viewers.

    I love the show and am sad to see it go… I think it didn't get enough viewers for 2 min reasons.. 1) you have to be didicated to watch every wk or you will be LOST (should have put back episodes on “on demand” so people can catch up if they missed a wk) 2) The cast especially the males on the show are just not attractive enough. TV is an escape and you got to have good looking actors, all the guys are average at best.. sorry to be shallow but that's the world we live in

    My husband and I record and series link all the programmes we like so we can watch them at a convenient time for us (and without the ads). They kind of spoiled the flow of the show by having such a long gap right in the middle of the first season but Flash Forward was awesome and I WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Fuck abc. It's a damn good show unlike half the shit that's on tv these days. Like the “event” haha what a flipping joke that show it. Flashfoward was just getting sweet!

    i was really depressed that ABC cancelled the show, i really really loved the cast: Dominic M., John Cho, J. Fiennes etc…After all the shows with super advanced plots got cancelled, i really think that THE GOVERNMENT IS REALLY KEEPING SECRETS FROM US!!! maybe what they can do, is to cater the show to other television companies and see who accepts and could give them a chance to air the 2nd season. THANKS!

    Very late comment but as a French viewer, I just saw the last and final episode 3 days ago.
    I'm so sad to hear that this series has been cancelled after just 1 season! For me, it was awesome from the first till the last episode.
    What a pity !
