Still undecided over whether or not to get your copy of the FlashForward Season One Part 1 DVD? We’ve gathered together some of the best reviews on the web to help you make your decision. Hit the jump for more.

The Trades: “This new DVD set presents the first ten episodes along with three tiny featurettes- one about the making of the visual effects for the first episode and two more talking about what’s coming up when the show returns, with one of those actually giving us a full scene from the next new episode. So if you’re expecting further, prepare to be disappointed. You’ll have to wait until the full season is released to see if there will be more substantial special features. One thing that is included with this DVD set though is a $15.00 Off coupon that goes toward the purchase of the full season set once it’s released. Amazon has this priced at $19.99, so it’s not really a great deal if you’re planning to buy the full season set later down the road (and further, that will be the only way it will be available on Blu-Ray).”

PopCultureZoo: “By far, the “Creating Catastrophe: The Effects of a Global Blackout” is the meatiest and most interesting of the Bonus Features. You get to see how the cast and crew managed to stage and shoot a key scene from the premiere on an overpass overlooking a very busy LA freeway. This is not only a great insight into how a TV show is shot, but really shows the dedication those behind the show have for making this realistic.”

Gather: “There are a few special features on the DVD, though not as many as I would have liked to see. “Creating Catastrophe” is an excellent behind the scenes look at the huge freeway crash scene that kicks off the series. There’s also a teaser for the upcoming second half of the season but that’s all. No commentaries, not even on the pilot and that surprised me.”

DVDTown: “Not much here. If you had a flashforward fifteen minutes into the future while these bonus features were playing you’d see a blank screen. “Creating Catstrophe: The Effects of a Global Blackout” is a pretty standard behind-the-scenes look at how they handled that first scene and who inspired them, along with a couple of teasers for the second half of the season.”

ComingSoon: “This DVD only contains the first 10 episodes. You can bet some special edition containing the whole series will come later. In the meantime, there’s only one real bonus feature included in this set. It shows how they did the disaster scene on the bridge in the first episode. (How they shut down a street in Los Angeles is beyond me!) Also included is a preview of the second half of Season One.”
